We've had a bit of a rush of confusion again over asking for dotProject support.
All Support is obtained via the support forums - http://support.dotproject.net
This includes user, installation, administration AND development questions.
Please DO NOT send support questions to any email addresses - at best your question will end up in a queue of other requests and it might take us a while to get to - more likely we'll just ignore it as we take a very dim view of queue jumpers.
And let's face it - if you send an email asking for support then you're jumping the queue in the forums AND you're asking for personal / one-on-one specialist assistance from somebody in the developer or admin team. Not only does that interrupt those team members to read, understand, and optionally respond to your message - it also means that whatever information you glean from a possible response is then, selfishly on your part, not shared with the rest of the community.
So you're taking away from what little time the dev and admin teams have to devote to dotProject and you're keeping the details you are asking for to yourself and not making sure that they are accessible to other members of the community.
Before everybody gets all excited - we are NOT going back to email lists for support, searching email archives is less useful than forum searching and there is no way we're going to limit what good searching is already done by the majority of the user community.
Incidentally - to post on the support forums you need:
1. To register a user account AND activate that account via the email that is sent out to you.
2. Select a forum that is open for general posting. Don't keep trying to post in a locked forum (indicated by the lock on the left hand side of the main forum AND by a sticky post at the top of the forum post listing).
