Our Little Girls Have Grown Up a Lot

And got pushy, and a little bit bitey when you're slow with the food buckets - but these pigs are absolutely hilarious and the best entertainment.  (Even better now that they are too big to jump through the little chook sized hatch into the chook house to raid nesting boxes for fresh eggs!)  We let them out in the main paddock for a regular run and Jedda is always beside herself with glee at the chance to play with somebody who will dig holes and run in the mud as much as shes loves to.  One day I will actually manage to grab a photo of them "ranging" but honestly - they move like greased weasel....

Twice a day we are greeted with this sight... sort of "MAKE WITH THE FOOD ALREADY WE'RE DYING HERE!!!!!"

Billie is always happy to say Hi.  Lillie on the other hand will be a little bit harder to find if he's around.  She still hasn't forgiven or forgotten vaccination time.

Just to prove that Lillie will show up at feeding time, but she's always hiding in full sight :)

Not that she misses out on meals.  She's just more likely to be the one furthest from himself!

Billie, on the other hand, doesn't care, won't get her head out of the feed bucket and is never late for meals!
