Mulch

When we mulch in these parts - we mulch!

It is such a joy to live somewhere that, if you want something delivered, it can be delivered.

To the door.

Even if it comes in tonnes.

Around 7 Tonnes of Straw

I went to Maryborough this morning with Clancy to have his stitches taken out. He's an idiot of a dog and he'd been at the wound despite me yelling at him non-stop for the last 10 days, so now he's sporting a lovely bandage for another week:

Clancy somewhat dwarfed by 7 Tonnes of Straw

Two nice men in a big truck delivered a lovely present that I've been wanting since we moved in here. Now I can get some serious mulching of that poor orchard done, cover the chook yards to cut down the dust, mulch the poor neglected garden beds in front of the big shed, put down some beds for tree planting around the house, build some soil for my raised garden beds, plant some late season veggies and......

But there's nothing like a man, his dog and a mountain of mulch:

A Man, His Dog, and 7 Tonnes of Straw
