YOu say you are going to release version 2.1 but
that version is already online (demo).

rc1 is a release candidate.

OK. Thanks. I look forward to seeing v 2.1 and
start trying it out. I guess it's hard to say but,

p.s.: what exactly does the sponsorship of Typo3
involve?

We hesitate to give dates as people just end up disappointed when we can't hit them. We're actively working on it at the moment and if you keep an eye on the bug site you'll see when we don't have anymore open in 2.x then we're to the stage we're we are testing / getting the packaging together.

Typo3's sponsorship meant that they have paid us a monthly donation in exchange for the link on our page. It's very kind of them and we're very very grateful as it's been put to excellent use covering the costs associated with moving the dotproject.net infrastructure to a bigger hosting package.
